Anime Zero Titles: How to Unlock Them and Their Bonuses
Titles started as chat badges but most now carry stats. Players asking “how do I get titles?” under launch videos usually hit the same wall: the conditions are listed in game but loosely worded.
Titles give real bonuses
The October 4 patch put each title’s buff percentages on the title card and buffed two combat titles:
| Title | Bonus | How to get |
|---|---|---|
| Boss Slayer | +2% crit chance | Boss kills; see the in-game condition |
| Boss Reaper | +8% crit damage | Boss kills; see the in-game condition |
| VIP / VIP+ | Chat title | Own the VIP or VIP+ pass |
| Speedrun titles | Health, cooldown or speed lines | Clear-time feats, added October 1 |
| 8 cosmetic titles | Cosmetic | Added October 4 |
Speedrun-title footage shows extra health, reduced cooldowns and extra movement speed on the titles menu.
Feat titles players are chasing
- Miyabi title: reportedly for beating Nightmare in under 3 minutes with Cataclysm (Miyabi) landing the final hit. Not confirmed by LY*.
- Paramita Pyre title: Valentless reports it for beating the Bath House raid boss with Hu Tao without using her ultimate, with about +15% damage and +20% health. Single source; see the raid guide.
- Divine Emperor and Immortal Sovereign titles: exist (an October 2 fix stopped them being swapped) but their conditions have not been published.
”It says Normal mode, but there is no Normal”
Some title conditions say Normal. The lobby’s second difficulty is sometimes shown as Medium in guides and menus; they are the same tier (enemy HP 1.3x). Run that difficulty for those titles.
Tips
- Your progress toward each title is visible in the titles menu since the October 2 patch, and the menu scrolls on mobile.
- Equip a combat title as soon as you have one; it is free crit.
- For crit builds, Boss Slayer’s +2% chance counts toward the 60% cap. See best build.
Noted. Good luck on your next pull.
