Anime Zero Sukuna (Cursed King): How to Get and Evolve
Cursed King is Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen. It is the weapon most creators now rank first in Anime Zero, and it is far easier to get than either Lyth.
How to get Cursed King
- Rarity: Arcane (some launch-day fan wikis say Mythic; the in-game card says Arcane).
- Banner rate: 0.6% on one summon panel after Update 1, the same as Divine Emperor.
- Pity: Arcane is guaranteed within 350 spins since your last Arcane or Lyth pull. Normal Rolls and Lucky Spins both count.
The 20 current codes give about 1,660 spins, enough to hit the Arcane pity four times over. Track your counter in the pity calculator.
Why it ranks so high
Its skills carry invincibility frames. In the Bath House raid, No Face’s first phase uses spikes you cannot block, so a weapon that lets you attack through them is worth more than raw damage. Creators who farmed Hu Tao picked Cursed King for exactly this reason. Valentless moved it to the top of his October 5 list for the same reason, and so did we on our tier list.
Best partner
Immortal Sovereign (Alucard) + Cursed King is an official synergy pair: +10% damage, the biggest damage bonus of the six pairs. Immortal Sovereign is a Mythic, so it usually arrives first. How to evolve Sukuna
Evolution unlocks the ultimate on G. Footage shows Cursed King evolving with Sukuna Fingers, which drop from dungeon runs, and streamers mid-evolution also list eyes among the materials, so expect several items.
Cannot evolve Sukuna even with the items? This is the most common question in the official Discord and in video comments. The requirement list includes more than materials, and the evolve button stays locked until every line is met. Check:
- Every material line, including the second item, not just the Fingers.
- Any level or title line on the requirement panel.
- That you selected the Sukuna weapon itself in the evolution menu.

Playing Cursed King well
- Use skills to dodge through boss attacks rather than blocking; the i-frames are the point.
- Open with your second weapon, then swap to Cursed King for the +20% swap bonus on its burst.
